FORECON Invests in the Future
Thad Lecture scaled e1716208605124 1200x1600
Thad Taylor presents a guest lecture to Penn State’s FOR-266 class.

FORECON values its relationships with our region’s college forestry programs, and appreciates the opportunity to share operational perspectives with students. Shown in the photo, FORECON’s Thad Taylor presents a guest lecture to Penn State’s FOR-266 class (Forest Mensuration) and leads a practical Q&A discussion with students about forest inventories, statistics, and stratification. Here, Thad challenges the class to consider whether a forester can accurately calculate stand volumes after using a different basal-area-factor prism on each separate variable radius sample point, within a given stand.

For sound forestry advice you and your team can trust, call on FORECON, and see the difference we can make for your next project.
